On behalf of my executive shareholders and Charter team, I am thrilled to announce, together with my new colleague, Co-Director and equity holder Mr Graeme Parton, the integration of his firm Pinnacle Property Group Pty Ltd., with the Charter Group, effective as from the 1st May 2008.
With a property career over 35 years, and as a founding shareholder of Pinnacle Property Pty Ltd., Graeme as the Managing Director of that practice over the last 20 years, has taken his firm to wide recognition and achievement in the fields of Corporate Real Estate and Development and Project Management. With a highly skilled and experienced professional team including Mr Laurie Tomaino, who will also join Charter as a Director, “Pinnacle”, has a business spectrum, range of quality clients, and senior engagements complementary to the operations that have grown at Charter through our own Project and Development Management and Corporate Real Estate Business Units.
The integration of the Charter and Pinnacle resources into one business will allow synergies and capture opportunities, providing to the real estate and corporate markets a repositioned and dynamic practice operating with 25 executives in CRE and Development and Project Management. Complemented and supported by Charter's operations in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Research, Valuations, Urban Economics and Policy, and Private Equity, the multiple disciplinary structure of the firm and its greater size positions the Group to well serve the growing needs of Melbourne's property, infrastructure and corporate business sectors. With the challenges of a growing population, yet a skills shortage, Charter's focus remains to extend its reach in the property community, supporting and servicing its clients into a future where the availability and quality of property skills will be in short supply and competitively sought.
Graeme and I have been friends for 40 years since school and based on our friendship and trust took little time to realise the potential of joining our operations. From both parties this represents a total and full commitment, a complete integration for the longer term and with resolve the newly formed CRE and Development Executive at Charter including Peter Hutchins, Graeme Parton, and Tom Kelly with their executive team will be dedicated to good commercial outcomes and happy clients.
Many of our clients have the habit of regularly visiting our Headquarters at 620 Church Street, Richmond where we have recently commissioned the second floor to centralise our expansion.
